Biography
Freshman Emma Heinzelmann joins the Aquinas Swim & Dive program after graduating from Okemos High School. A biology major, Heinzelmann enters her collegiate career as a three-time All-Conference performer who also qualified twice for the state championships and three times for the ULTRA Championships.
Heinzelmann competed as a four-year varsity swimmer and has spent years developing her passion for the sport. She chose Aquinas because of the opportunity to become part of a close-knit community while continuing to compete at a high level and pursue her interest in the sciences.
Emma believes surrounding herself with supportive teammates, coaches and professors will allow her to thrive both in and out of the pool. Away from swimming, she enjoys painting, drawing, playing the piano and listening to Noah Kahan.
