Aquinas College

Madison Bearup joins Aquinas Swim & Dive with an accomplished high school résumé and 12 years of competitive swimming experience. A four-time MHSAA State Finals qualifier, Bearup earned All-State recognition in the 100-yard breaststroke and captured six Coastal Conference championships during her career at Ludington High School. She was also the runner-up for the CatchMark Sports Varsity Blues Rob Peel Swimming Award and received a Mason County Sports Hall of Fame Award in 2026.

Bearup developed her swimming career with Lighthouse Swimming Club while also competing in track and volleyball during her freshman year of high school. She chose Aquinas because of the beauty of the campus and the supportive, talented and hardworking culture she found within the Saints' swimming and diving program.

Bearup defines success as excelling in her studies while working toward excellence as a member of the AQ Swim & Dive program.

Fun fact: she has hiked to the summit of Angels Landing in Zion National Park.
