Biography
High School: Prepped at Williamston High School under Paula Maurer-Westbrook, head coach all 4 years for women’s cross country and head coach Mitch Lutzke for all 4 years of track and field. Apart of both cross country and track all 4 years, and was a captain for both sports my junior and senior years. I received All Conference honors my senior year for cross country. For track, I received All Conference honors all 4 years. Also, my senior year, I received the Senior Leadership award for both cross country and track. For my senior track season, I was also awarded the team’s Tiffany Darling Spirit award as well as a Senior Academic Excellence award. In addition to running, I was also a member of National Honors Society, 4-H, altar serving, youth group, Peer to Peer/Links program, and Business Professionals of America.
Personal: Daughter of Michael and Brenda Maurer, sister of Angela, Nathan, and Jacob Maurer. Majoring in Special Education. I also enjoy spending a lot of my time competing and riding my horse, board game nights with my family, and hanging out with my friends.
