Biography
North Muskegon, Michigan, native Carolyn Bennett is majoring in Mathematics and Secondary Education with a minor in Developmental Psychology. A 2023 graduate of North Muskegon High School, she was a standout runner, earning All-Conference honors in cross country in 2022 and 2023, while also winning the 1600m Regional Championship in 2021 and Muskegon City titles in 2019 and 2022. She was part of regional champion and runner-up 4x800m relay teams in 2022 and 2023. With a decade of running experience, Bennett was a four-year varsity athlete and a multiple-time captain in both cross country and track. She chose Aquinas because of its strong academic and athletic balance, while still allowing her to remain close to home. Outside of athletics, Bennett has been gluten-free since the age of 12.
