Connor Leppink joined the Aquinas College athletic department in May 2025 as the Deputy Athletic Director, bringing a wide-ranging background in athletic administration and operations across multiple levels of collegiate athletics.
A native of West Michigan, Leppink returns to the area after most recently serving as the Associate Athletic Director for Finance & External Relations at Carthage College, where he also held the role of Assistant Athletic Director for Finance from 2022–2024. During his time at Carthage, he was honored with the 2024 Firebird Award as the Athletic Department Staff Member of the Year. Leppink also served on the NCAA National Collegiate Bowling Committee from September 2024 to May 2025.
Prior to his time at Carthage, Leppink worked in Division I basketball, holding operations roles with both the Winthrop University and Miami (Ohio) women's basketball programs between 2018 and 2022.
Leppink holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from the University of Michigan. He earned his undergraduate degree from Dordt University, graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration. While at Dordt, Leppink was a four-year member of the baseball team and a two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
When asked why he chose Aquinas, Leppink shared, “I wanted to move back to West Michigan to be closer to my family, and Aquinas presented the perfect opportunity for the next step in my career. More than anything, it was the people — everyone I met throughout the process was nothing short of amazing. People make or break a place, and the people here at Aquinas make this place special.”
Connor lives in Holland, Michigan, and enjoys golfing, spending time with family and friends, and attending or watching sporting events. His family includes his father Steve Leppink, who works in Grand Rapids; his younger brother Evan, a Ph.D. candidate in Plasma Physics at MIT; and his twin sister Hope Martin, a former collegiate volleyball player at Cornerstone and current physical therapist in Mesa, Arizona.
