Dan Zang serves as the Academic Support Coordinator at Aquinas College, returning to his alma mater where he earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science before completing a Master’s degree at Central Michigan University.

Prior to his role at Aquinas, Zang dedicated 33 years as a public educator in Cedar Springs and Rockford Public Schools and also spent five years working at Grand Valley State University. During his time as a student-athlete at Aquinas, he was honored with the Joe Baker Award his senior year, one of the college’s most prestigious recognitions.

Outside of work, Zang enjoys spending time outdoors and officiating high school football. He and his wife, Sara, make their home in Rockford, Michigan, where they raised two sets of twins: sons Luke and Drew (24), and daughters Kate and Aimee (22).

Reflecting on why he chose to return to Aquinas, Zang shares: “I had such a wonderful experience here as a student—what a thrill to be back! AQ is special!!”
