Olivia Capuano joined the Aquinas College Athletic Training staff as an Athletic Trainer, bringing with her a strong clinical background and a passion for building meaningful relationships within a close-knit athletic community. A graduate of Carthage College, Capuano earned both her bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Science and her master’s degree in Athletic Training, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of high-level settings during her academic career.

While in school, Capuano worked extensively with BYU Gymnastics, Carthage Football, and Lake Forest Football, while also spending time with the Pleasant Prairie Fire Department, helping shape her well-rounded and adaptable approach to sports medicine. She holds NATA BOC certification and is a certified Emergency Medical Responder, allowing her to confidently support student-athletes in both preventative care and acute situations.

Originally from Indiana, Capuano now resides in Grand Rapids and enjoys CrossFit training, exploring new coffee shops, and spending time with friends in her free time. She remains close with her family — her parents Melissa and Jeff, younger sister Maria, and her lab, Stella. Capuano was drawn to Aquinas for its welcoming culture and strong sense of community, noting that the genuine friendliness and opportunity to build lasting relationships made the Saints an easy choice.
