“I am very excited to start our third year with the Women's team," said Coach Garner. "The first two years exceeded our best expectations due to the hard work of the assistant coaches and the players.  I truly believe Aquinas College offers the best blend of academics and athletics that can be found anywhere. We are looking to bring in quality players who also possess the scholastic aptitude to succeed at Aquinas College. The players at Aquinas will be great students along with great people and great soccer players. We plan on being very involved in the local soccer community. We will encourage our players to do even more in the Grand Rapids community to make this a great place to live. We are very proud that last year's women soccer team was named an NAIA Scholar Team, and we are extremely proud of our 9 Academic All-Americans, signifying great academic achievement form our athletes."
