Tammy Smith joins the Aquinas Women’s Lacrosse staff as an Assistant Coach, bringing more than 15 years of coaching experience across multiple sports. Her background includes extensive work in women’s lacrosse as a goalie coach, JV assistant, and varsity assistant, giving her a strong foundation in player development and game preparation.
A graduate of Davenport University, Smith has built her coaching reputation on mentorship, consistency, and helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field. Her experience working with goalkeepers and team systems adds valuable depth to an Aquinas program focused on continued growth and competitive success.
Smith was drawn to Aquinas by the college’s strong sense of community and the opportunity to be part of a program that emphasizes personal growth alongside competitive excellence. She is excited to help the Saints continue building something special.
Originally from Grand Ledge, Smith enjoys spending time with family, golfing, attending concerts, and vacationing in Florida and the Caribbean. She and her family are preparing for an exciting new chapter as her two sons will both attend Saginaw Valley State University this fall.
