The men's lacrosse program has added another signee in the 2021 recruiting class, heading to southwest Michigan to get a Letter of Intent from Noah Szarejko.
Szarejko hails from Battle Creek, Michigan and attends Harper Creek High School. Noah is a well-rounded athlete, who started playing lacrosse just four years ago, but has 13 years of soccer and six years of wrestling in his background. Szarejko helped his JV lacrosse squad win a conference championship and has played two years of varsity lacrosse for the Beavers. Noah has played travel ball for the past two year for True Kalamazoo. Primarily a face-off midfielder, Noah was recently invited to the National Face Off Showcase.
"Noah is a great student and very active in his high school and in his community," said Head Coach
Doug Seites. "Aquinas College, not just our lacrosse program, got a great addition with Noah deciding to become a Saint." He added, "Noah brings a good physicality and technique to the faceoff position, and his wrestling background helps him to use his advantages. He has worked very hard to improve his skills at the X and he will be a great addition to the program."
Said Szarejko on why he chose Aquinas, "It had all the majors I wanted, beautiful campus, awesome sports complex, and just far enough away from home to be far but close enough to come back for a weekend or holiday. I loved the school and can't wait to go!"
