Grand Rapids, Mich. — The Aquinas College Dance Team is excited to announce Peighton Lehmann as the next commit to the 2025-2026 school year. Lehmann comes to Aquinas by way of Grandville High School and plans to study Elementary Education while minoring in Psychology.
Lehmann will roll into this fall coming off of an impressive dance career as she was a three-time overall winner of the Applause Talent Dance Competition (APTDC), earning the highest overall score of the day at the APTDC, collected various amounts of Judges Excellence Awards, Star Dancer Award, and was a three-time title winner at the APTDC and the Legacy Dance Championships.
As a three-year varsity Bulldog Lehmann and the team were the Grand Champs at the Davenport Invitational for the 2023-2024 season and were nationals bound for the DTU nationals for the following season in 2024-2025. Overall, Lehmann has been dancing for 15 years.
This is what Lehmann has to share about her choice in Aquinas "When I first toured Aquinas, I fell in love with the campus. I am so excited to keep on learning, while also still being able to keep doing what I love most, dancing. I am going to cherish these next years and make the most out of everything. I can't wait to see where this leads me down the road in life, I truly feel unbelievably blessed and grateful for this opportunity".
