The Aquinas College women's hockey team concluded the regular season with a pair of games against Adrian this weekend. The Bulldogs came into the weekend tops in the CCWHA, and defeated the Saints 7-1 and 10-0. The losses drop the Saints' record on the year to a final record of 6-22 and 1-13 in conference play.
On Friday night the Saints hosted the Bulldogs, but fell by a 7-1 final. Adrian only held a 1-0 lead after the first 20 minutes of play, but scored four times in the second period to take control of the contest. They added two more goals in the third to increase their lead to seven before

Tori Feddema. While the Saints came up short on the scoreboard, it was not for a lack of effort by goaltender
Ally Kennedy, who made an astounding 90 saves on the day, a school record.
The next day the Saints traveled to Adrian to close out the season, but again the Bulldogs were too much. Adrian took the game by a 10-0 final, despite Kennedy posting 64 saves on the night. Over the weekend, the junior goalie stopped 154 of 171 shots she faced (90%). She finished the season with an amazing 1111 saves in 28 games (39.7 per game) and a .902 save percentage.Â
