Aquinas men's volleyball head coach Michael Crane announced that Leo Paul Rousseau has signed his letter of intent to continue his volleyball career at AQ. Rousseau is from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and attended College Jean-de-Brebeuf.
 
Rousseau is an all-state athlete in Quebec and was named MVP three times. For the last year, he has been a member of the Carabins B at the University of Montreal and was named captain five times. His high school team finished as the regional champion in the Montreal Conference.

"Leo is the first international player to sign with Aquinas," Crane noted. "He's a 6'1" setter from Canada, with a good vertical and a very high volleyball IQ. Leo brings a great deal of international experience with him, which should help us run an up-tempo offense, as well as bolster our already great defense."
 
He also plays lacrosse, soccer and tennis in addition to volleyball. Rousseau plans to study business at Aquinas.
 
"I am really excited to join a great school and to play in a competitive program," commented Rousseau. "I am looking forward to an intense four years with coach Crane. Go Saints!"
