Both the men's basketball program and men's lacrosse program at Aquinas College have announced the addition of Andrew Briskey after Briskey recently signed his Letter of Intent to become a Saint this fall.
Briskey hails from Walled Lake, Michigan, where he attended Walled Lake Western High School. He was a two-year member of both the varsity basketball and lacrosse programs for the Warriors. Overall, he has over 10 years of basketball experience and three years on the lacrosse field. On the court, Briskey plays the forward position, while on the field he plays midfield, defense and takes faceoffs.
"Andrew is a good athlete with great size. He brings a lot of versatility to the team with his ability to play multiple positions. He will be able to contribute as a faceoff guy, on the midfield and on the defensive end of the field for us and really be a jack of all trades for us. He has a lot of potential and we think he is going to come in and work hard to make his presence known," said men's lacrosse coach
Doug Seites.
Said Briskey, "I chose Aquinas for its location. I feel like there are many sports management opportunities in Grand Rapids." He will study Sports Managment at Aquinas College.
