Women Just Keep Swimming in Second Meet of the Season

Saints win one individual and one relay against the Comets

RESULTS

The Aquinas women's swimming team competed in their second meet this season this Saturday (October 16) at Olivet College. The Saints saw two swimmers win an event in the dual, as well as one relay.

Finishing in first on the women's side in the dual meet, was the Olivet Comets, topping the Saints 104-70. 

Individually, Mary Grace Doyle stood out for the Saints in the 100 yard butterfly again, placing first in the event with at time of 1:02:23. This time lands her closer to a NAIA national qualifying mark. Hope McGarry-Costello won the women's 100 breaststroke with a 1:19.72 by dropping five seconds in her previous best time. 

The Saints are back in action Saturday, October 16 when they travel to Marian, Indiana for a dual meet against Indiana Wesleyann. The first race goes off at 2:00 PM.
