Lewis Robinson are pleased to announce the first commit to the 2022 recruiting class, Kayla Shuk. From Farmington Hills, Michigan, Shuk will join the roster and begin her academic journey in the upcoming fall.
During her first three years at North Farmington High School, she was named to the all league team as well as being named league MVP. Then, during her time with Corktown AFC, she won the golden glove award for 2021 MPSL season in route to helping her team to a state cup championship.
"We are really excited to add Kayla to our program in the fall of 22'. Kayla is a proven elite level goalkeeper who we expect to make our program better as we continue to make steps forward" coach Robinson commented. "The recruiting process with Kayla has been enjoyable and we can't wait to get started this fall with her in our team"
Shuk has been playing soccer since she started playing travel ball on U8 teams. From there she played club soccer at Northville Rush, and will be finishing up her fourth year on North Farmington High School's Varsity team.
Shuk plans on studying Health Science once arriving at Aquinas. When asked on her decision to attend Aquinas College she said: "One reason I chose to come to Aquinas was the extraordinary soccer program. The coaches have helped the team become very successful. I'm extremely excited to be a part of this program and continue the program's success."
