Women's Swimming Continues to Improve in First Meet of 2022

The Aquinas women's swimming team was back in action yesterday as they competed in a double dual meet in Olivet, Michigan. The Saints battled against Olivet College and Bethel College where they fell 116-98 to the comets and 209-43 against the pilots. 

Mary Grace Doyle highlighted the weekend for the saints as she placed second in the 100 fly with a time of 1:04.02 and only being bested by a second. She also took third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:06.97. 

In the 200 Yard Free Katrina Paolicchi represented Aquinas with a time of 2:17 to take third place. Then in the 50 Yard Backstroke Maddy Critchell placed fourth out of five with a time of 33.23

Bethel College went on to beat Olivet 180-74, to win the double dual meet. 

The Saints will be back in action January 22, when they compete in a meet against Albion College with competition set for 1:00pm.
