Gabe Overway and Justin Lary controlled the paint for the Saints as Overway scored 18 points and grabbed seven boards and Lary finished with 11 points and eight rebounds in the second half alone. Aquinas never relinquished the double-digit lead for the rest of the game and led by as much as 20 with just over two minutes left. The Saints finished the game with a 15-point victory.
