Marion, IN - The women's swimming team traveled to Marion, Indiana this weekend for a dual meet against the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats. The Saints set one new school record this weekend as the program continues to make strides.
Claire Hines was the first standout for the Saints. When competing in the 200 fly, she finished the event with a time of 2:27 and set a new Aquinas school record. Hines would also compete in the 100 Yard Free finishing third with a time of 57.63. She was joined in the event with
Sam Casler and
Avery Connors. They finished with times of 1:01 and 1:04
In the longest event of the day,
Maureen Lynch finished third in the 1650 Yard Freestyle. She swam her way to third with a time of 20:06. She was joined in the event by
Ryan Lozinski who swam her way to a 22:55

In the 1M Springboard,
Taylor Moss placed second with a final score of 153.10. This score gave here a new personal best.
The Saints were bested by the Wildcats 228-45 in the contest.
The women's swim and dive teams will be back in action next Friday for a matchup against Saginaw Valley. The contest will be held at 5:00 PM in University Center, Michigan
