Women's Soccer Stays at 16th in NAIA Coaches Poll

As announced on Wednesday, October 5, the Aquinas women's soccer team held firm as the No. 16-ranked program in the NAIA Coaches Top-25 Poll.

The Saints defeated WHAC foes UM-Dearborn, 3-0, and Madonna, 5-1, this past week. AQ remains perfect in the conference (3-0) while bolstering a 7-2-1 overall record.

The rankings as a whole didn't see a lot changes with 14 out of the 25 teams not moving up or down. No teams dropped out of the Top 25 and the biggest mover was Westmont (Calif.), but they only slipped three spots from No. 12 to No. 15. Keiser (Fla.) maintained its No. 1 ranking, receiving all 18 first-place votes. Marian (Ind.) jumped Spring Arbor (Mich.) for the second spot.

Aquinas continues to be the lone WHAC representative in the Top-25 Poll.

The Saints will look to move up the poll with two road conference games this week. This afternoon AQ will be kicking off at 1 p.m. against Rochester and then Saturday the Saints have another 1 p.m. kickoff scheduled at UNOH.
