Lima, Ohio — The Aquinas men's soccer team earned a hard-fought road point Saturday (Oct. 8) afternoon with a 0-0 draw against No. 9-ranked University of Northwestern Ohio. The scoreless affair marked the Saints' second tie of the season, moving their record to 6-4-2 (3-1-1 WHAC).
UNOH, fresh off their first loss of the season on Wednesday (Oct. 5) against No. 22-ranked Indiana Tech, were prevented from getting three more points and are now 8-1-3 overall (3-1-1 WHAC).
The Racers outshot AQ in the contest 19-6 (4-2 shots on target).

A tame first half that only featured one yellow card to Saints defender
Joe Lockey intensified in the second half with three UNOH players and a coach picking up cautions. Gonzalo La Chica drew a second yellow for a red card on a missed overhead kick that struck an AQ defender. He was sent off in the 85th minute. It wasn't enough time to change the complexion of the match.
