The women's lacrosse team was in action for their second to last game of the year this evening when they faced off against the Rochester Warriors. The Saints had one of their most dominant games in program history when they were victorius in the 26-1 game.

At the conclusion of today's contest Aquinas rises to 11-5 overall and 7-1 in conference.

Aquinas' highest scoring came in the first quarter when they were able to net ten goals. The points would start racking up almost immediately when
Kennadie Minerich broke the ice 24 seconds into the game. Forty seconds later
Brianna Trepins found the back of the net. Trepins and Minerich would each have another goal in the quarter as well as Moffat with two. Other goals in the quarter came from
Cierra Davis,
Emma Bailey,
McKenna Burke, and
Katelyn Hall.

In the second,
Trinity Reynoso started off the Saints scoring with two consecutive goals.
Alex Sullivan was then able to get on the score board at 12:52.
Cierra Davis and
Emma Bailey then scored for their second goals of the day. From here it became a five way race to see which Saint would get a hat trick first.
Shaylin Rings would extend the race scoring her first goal of the game at 5:48.
Brianna Trepins then found the back of the net at 2:45 to become the first Saint with a hat trick in the game. Before the half ended
Cierra Davis scored again to give her the second hat trick on the day.

To start the third,
Ashley Suske scored 38 seconds in for her lone goal.
Trinity Reynoso scored next to earn the third hat trick of the day. Moffat followed closely behind with a goal of her own to give her the fourth and final hat trick of the day. Four more goals in the quarter came from Rings,
Sophia Schmader, Burke, and
Emma Waris.

The final quarter was quiet as both teams scored once with the Saints coming from
Brianna Trepins to give her four goals on the day.

In the first half,
Jordan Gardner played in goal for AQ. She faced 1 shots in her 30 minutes of action and was able to save it.
Azariah Wells played the second half and faced one shot which got by her for the Warriors lone goal. Â

The women will look to get back on a winning track this coming Saturday when they face off against Siena Heights. The game will take place at the AQ Athletic Field at 2:00 PM as their final regular season game of 2022.
