HannahMae Evans Set to Transfer to AQ Women's Lacrosse Program

Grand Rapids, Mich. – The AQ women's lacrosse team, along with head coach, Angelica Gero, are thrilled to be announcing HannahMae Evans as their latest addition to the team. Evans will be transferring to Aquinas from George Mason University this season. She is originally from Grand Haven, Michigan and intends to pursue a degree in health sciences.

Evans has been playing lacrosse for seven years, including three years on the varsity team for Grand Haven High School. She was the team captain her senior year after showing fantastic leadership traits throughout her time with Grand Haven. In addition to lacrosse, Evans was also a part of the Grand Haven cheerleading squad.

Coach Gero is very excited to have Evans joining the team this season. This is what she had to say: "I am ecstatic to have HannahMae as the last member of our 2022 recruit class. I am confident that she is going to bring a lot of great energy & passion for lacrosse to our team on and off the field. She is an awesome addition to an already very strong goalie squad!"

When asked what drove her to transfer to Aquinas, this is what Evans had to offer: "I am excited to continue to play lacrosse while making new friends and memories!"
