AQ maintained a comfortable lead and used late kills from Abbi Perkins and Michelle Domey to finish off the set, 25-18.

Set two was a back-and-forth affair, with UNOH holding the largest advantage of four points at three different times during the frame. Aquinas nabbed a 4-0 run on consecutive kills from Samee Teachworth, Cece Pelak, Lee, and Perkins to regain a 20-19 lead. The Racers went in front 24-23 and served for set point, trying to even the match at one set apiece. Teachworth then recorded back-to-back kills on sets from Lydia Harper and UNOH committed a hitting error to give AQ the 26-24 triumph.

The Saints jumped in front early with a 9-3 edge in set three, but UNOH responded with an 8-1 run of its own. After a Racer service error, the set was tied 15-all. Julia Schweihofer served AQ to a huge six-point run, which included two Schweihofer aces, kills from Perkins and Teachworth, and a combined block by the same duo. Domey and Teachworth sandwiched kills around a Chloe Hogarth ace to finish off the Racers in set three.
