Farmington Hills, Mich. — The Aquinas golf teams competed at the LTU Fall Invite on Friday (Sept. 29) at the Farmington Hills Golf Club.
The men shot 302 to finish fifth out of seven teams. The women shot 362 to take sixth out of eight teams. Davenport B team won the men's event with a team score of 283 and event hosts Lawrence Tech claimed the women's event with a team total of 312.
All five of the AQ men shot under 80.
Dominic Luciani led the way with a 74. A trio of Saints finished with a 76:

Anthony Lalomia.
Caleb Blackburn wasn't too far behind with a 78.
LTU's Martin Wing won medalist honors with a 67.
AQ's 302 was one stroke off tying the team's best round this season when they shot 301 at the season-opening Lourdes Fall Invite.
The men are back in action at the LTU Blue Devils Classic on Oct. 8-10 at The Nightmare and The Dream golf course in West Branch, Mich.
As for the women, the Saints were led by
Grace Berenbrock (87) and
Jayda Kerns (89).
Emma Franklin (90) and
Brooke Kalisz (96) set the team score and
Maddie Schense (108) rounded out AQ's team showing.
LTU's Julia Lefere won medalist honors with a 72.
The women have a quick turnaround and return to the tee box at the Stonehedge North golf course on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 2-3) for the WHAC Fall Preview.
