Augusta, Mich. — The Aquinas College women's golf team capped off its 2024-25 season with a hard-fought sixth-place finish at the WHAC Championship, hosted at Stonehedge North Golf Club on April 21–23.

Ellie Christian led the Saints with a strong final round, carding an impressive 80 after opening with back-to-back 87s to finish at 254. Christian's steady improvement helped anchor Aquinas throughout the tournament.

Ava Clark and Jayda Kerns tied in total score, both posting 257 across three rounds. Clark fired rounds of 89, 86, and a closing 82, while Kerns stayed consistent with scores of 86, 87, and 84 to help keep the Saints competitive against a deep conference field.

Maddie Schense delivered a key final day performance as well, bouncing back from a tough second round with an 84 after opening with an 87, totaling 271 for the tournament. Zoey Quinn rounded out the group with rounds of 85, 91, and 86, finishing at 262 as an individual.

The Saints closed the championship with a three-round team total of +162, claiming sixth place out of 13 teams. Lawrence Tech took home the team title at +75, with Northwestern Ohio and Cleary rounding out the top three.

Aquinas showed resilience and steady improvement across the board, ending the season with momentum as the team looks ahead to the 2025-26 campaign.
