Despite this surge, the Eagles responded with three goals of their own, bringing the score to 5-2 in favor of Eastern heading into the final period.
In the third period, the Saints added a final goal, courtesy of Alyssa Exline, assisted by Paige Ike. However, the Eagles quickly answered with three more goals to seal the win at 8-3.
