Elsah, Ill. — The No. 17-rated Aquinas College men's rugby team traveled down to Elsah, Illinois, on Saturday (Oct. 19) to take on conference opponent Principia with a 12:00 p.m. start.

The battle was fierce but the Thunder Chickens managed to hold tight against the Saints. After the full 80 minutes, Principia found the victory by a score of 22-7.
Jacob Easterling earned the lone try for the Saints, with
Jackson Andrews securing the conversion.

Lance Hohaia had to share about the contest, "Our defensive display was much improved on last week, which was a focal point during training. We did lack composure during some key moments, and missed out on some scoring opportunities as a result. Credit to the Thunder Chickens, they finished the match strong and we couldn't keep [up] with them."
