Box Score 2 University Park, Pennsylvania – The Aquinas Saints women's hockey team continued their season against the Penn State Nittany Lions, facing a challenging opponent. Despite a determined effort, the Saints were unable to overcome Penn State, falling 7-1 in game one and 8-1 in game two.

Penn State took control early, scoring one goal in the first period and three goals in the second, building a lead that the Saints couldn't recover from. The Lions went on to find three more goals in the third period.
Aquinas' lone goal came in the third period when Paige Ike found the back of the net off an assist from Kaeleigh Kachmarski.

Penn State came out strong, scoring three goals in the first period to take an early lead. They added another goal in the second period, extending their advantage to 4-0. The Nittany Lions continued to apply pressure, scoring four more times in the final period to secure the 8-1 victory.
Despite the uphill battle, Aquinas managed to get on the board in the third period, with Alyssa Exline netting the Saints' lone goal, assisted by Julia DeHondt.
