AQ Men's Hockey Finds Tough Contest with #4 Adrian

Aquinas battles but falters to a 6-0 result

Box Score Grand Rapids, Mich. — The Aquinas College men's hockey team traveled to Adrian, Michigan, to take on the No. 4-rated Bulldogs of Adrian. The Saints had constant effort on the ice against the top-five team but were unable to break through the defensive shroud. Adrian took the victory 6-0.

The Saints knew the task at hand was large but were up for the challenge as iron sharpens iron. AQ had a confident showing in the first as they held Adrian to a single score. The Bulldogs managed to find some cracks in the AQ's defense in the second as the Bulldogs put up three additional goals. The final period of play saw AC add two more late into the period. With the final horn, Adrian had shown just why they sit as No. 4 in the national rankings.
