Grand Rapids, Mich. — The Aquinas College Softball head coach,
Brad Koch, and team are happy to announce another addition to the 2024 signing class. Audrey Schindler is one of the new additions to next years softball roster. Schindler is will finish her final year of varsity softball for the Saints of St. Clair High School this spring and join the Saints in the coming fall. Schindler plans to dual major in Exercise Science, and Biology with a focus in Physical Therapy.
Schindler will look to bring her east side flair to south-west Michigan as she hails from St. Clair, Michigan. As her time as a Shorian, Schindler played two years of softball and four years of basketball. Schindler was a part of the All-State Academic team, while also receiving all-conference honorable mention for basketball.
When asked on her decision to be a Saint, Schindler stated, "The campus is beautiful, and has my first choice [in] major".
Here is what Coach Koch had to say about Schindler, "Audrey is a hard throwing right hander in the circle who can move the ball really well. We're looking for a big impact from her right off the bat for us. She also plays well at first base and and can swing it with the best of them".
