Grand Rapids, Mich. – The Aquinas women's soccer team continues to add to their talented roster with the addition of Abby Kramer. Kramer makes way for Aquinas from Caledonia, where she recently came off a District championship with the Fighting Scots of Caledonia High School (2024). As Kramer prepares to make her transition from Scot to Saint she will look to begin her studies in Elementary Education this fall.
The center midfielder has been playing soccer for 14 years and landed four years on the varsity squad for the Fighting Scots. In her time in purple and gold Kramer earned All-Conference Honors (2021), and Academic All-State Honors (2023 & 2024).
Outside of the MHSAA Kramer competed for the Michigan Futbol Academy, and the Michigan Fire Juniors (now Michigan Rangers). The incoming Saint earned a slice of the National President Cup, and the Great Lakes Regional Championship in her time in club soccer.
This is what Kramer had to say on her choosing of Aquinas, "I chose Aquinas because of the academics and the ability to play the sport I love so much. Also the atmosphere and community around is just so welcoming and immediately I felt at home".
