Box Score Lansing, Mich. — Aquinas Men's Basketball had been riding a three-game win streak, but a tough road trip on Saturday ended with a heartbreaking 76-72 loss to Cleary. Despite a valiant effort, the Saints were unable to overcome a ten-point halftime deficit, and the loss snapped their recent winning streak.

Caden Pokorzynski posted another double-double, contributing 14 points and 14 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Jadakiss Lewis led the Saints with a team-high 18 points, adding three rebounds, three assists, and a steal.
David Day provided a strong performance off the bench, scoring 11 points and going a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc. Sophomore Terrance Jones also made an impact with five rebounds, three assists, four points (4-for-4 from the free-throw line), and a steal.
Aquinas trailed by 10 points at halftime but made a strong push in the second half. With three minutes to go, Day's layup tied the game at 67. However, the Cougars split a pair of free throws with 16 seconds left, sealing the victory and ending the Saints' comeback hopes.
Ten different Aquinas players scored at least two points in the game.
The loss drops Aquinas to 10-8 overall and 6-5 in the WHAC, tying them for sixth place in the conference.
