Men's Cross Country NAIA Coaches' Poll - No. 2

Kansas City, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the Men's Cross Country Top 25 Coaches' Poll on Thursday (Sept. 25). The Saints, who were slated No. 18 in the last poll, slipped one spot to #19 in the country.

Aquinas had a solid season debut at the Calvin University Diemer Classic where they placed first out of six squads. The Saints would then best a twelve team field to win the Siena Heights Invitational by 14 points.

The Saints, who are looking for a third consecutive WHAC title, find themselves leading a pair of WHAC schools in the latest Top 25. Cornerstone University checked in at #21 in the current poll.

Coach Wojciakowski commented, "I thought we made some good strides from our first to our second meet.  We competed very well at Siena Heights and I was glad we were able to preview the course that our conference championships will be contested on.  We are looking forward to this weekend as we continue to prep toward the end of the season."

The Saints will return to action on October 4th as they travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to compete in the Seminole Valley Stampede. The meet will be contested at Seminole Valley Park with the men's start time scheduled for 10:00am (EST).
