The Saints keep their streak alive of being ranked inside the Top 25 for a 28th consecutive poll

Men's Cross Country NAIA Coaches' Poll - No. 1

Kansas City, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the Men's Cross Country Top 25 Coaches' Poll on Thursday (Sept. 25). The Saints, who were slated No. 16 in the preseason poll, slipped two spots to #18 in the country.

Aquinas had a solid season debut at the Calvin University Diemer Classic where the Saints placed first out of six squads.

The Saints, who are looking for a third consecutive WHAC title, find themselves leading a pair of WHAC schools in the latest Top 25. Cornerstone University checked in at #20 in the current poll.

Coach Wojciakowski commented, "We had a good start to our racing season and I was excited for the opportunity to finally compete. The guys have been putting in quality work and I'm looking forward to watching this team progress throughout the season.  The team has some lofty goals and they know their's still lots of work to be done before November."

The Saints will return to action on Sept. 26 as they travel to Adrian, Michigan to compete in the Siena Heights Invitational. The meet will be contested at Heritage Park with the men's start time scheduled for 1:00pm (EST).
