Grand Rapids, Michigan - Blythe Webb, the daughter of Monica and Jeff Webb, has signed her national letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Aquinas College. Webb, who currently is homeschooled, became the third signee of the 2025-26 recruiting class for the Aquinas College women's cross country and track & field programs.
Webb stated, "I chose Aquinas because of the family-like atmosphere, great academic program and the opportunity to pursue running at the collegiate level."
Blythe, who enjoys reading, baking, art, and spending time with friends, has posted a personal best of 20:11 on the cross course. While competing for the GRTC Peregrines she also has established PR's of 2:33 (800 meters) and 5:39 (1600 meters) on the track. A four year letter winner and 3x team captain, Blythe is a welcome addition to the Aquinas College community.
Denny Scully, head cross country and track & field coach for the Peregrines added, "We are delighted to hear that Blythe has signed with Aquinas. She comes from a family where running is the family business. So, it was no surprise that she was a top seven varsity performer right from the start. The grit that she displayed recovering from injuries her sophomore year, will be evident as she makes the transition from high school to college running."
Blythe has one sibling named Eve and she plans on double majoring in Spanish and Education at Aquinas College.
Aquinas head coach
Mike Wojciakowski commented, "I am very excited that Blythe has decided to attend Aquinas College. I believe she is going to be a difference maker on our campus and within our cross country and track & field programs. She is a fantastic student-athlete, but she's an even better person. I can't wait to start working with her."
