AJ Wills brings decorated high school production and academic achievement to Aquinas Baseball. A two-time Illinois Central Eight All-Conference selection (2024, 2025), two-time IHSBCA Academic All-State honoree, Coal City Pitcher of the Year (2025), and Second Team Kankakee Daily Herald All-Area selection, Wills established himself as both a standout performer and scholar-athlete. He played four years of high school baseball, including two varsity seasons, along with two years of basketball, and competed with Go Pro out of Plainfield, Illinois.

Wills chose Aquinas because of his family connection to the university and the opportunity to be close to relatives in the area. He defines success as building new friendships, performing well academically, and competing at a high level on the field.

Outside of baseball, he enjoys spending time with friends, playing video games, and staying active.
