Chris Steffan brings elite-level accolades and leadership to Aquinas Baseball. An All-State selection and Team MVP, Steffan helped lead his program to a 2021 district championship. He played baseball for 15 years, spending many of those seasons with the Oakland Express travel program. A four-year varsity starter in high school, he also competed in varsity basketball during his final two seasons, adding athletic versatility to his résumé.

Steffan chose Aquinas to continue his athletic career while receiving an excellent education in Grand Rapids. He defines success as preparing himself for medical school while building lifelong relationships and lasting memories throughout his collegiate experience.

A unique fact: he had his appendix removed in sixth grade — an early introduction to the medical path he now pursues academically.
