Biography
A redshirt junior from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Lauren Chioini is majoring in Health Science with a minor in Developmental Psychology. Since starting volleyball in 7th grade, she has built an impressive career that includes 2023 WHAC All-Freshman Team honors, 2023 All-Mideast Region Freshman of the Year, 2024 All-American Honorable Mention, 2024 All-WHAC First Team, 2024 CSC Academic All-District Team, and 2024 All-Region First Team. She was also part of the 2024 WHAC Conference and Tournament Championship teams. A four-year varsity player in high school, Lauren played club volleyball for Team Detroit, Force Volleyball Academy, and Michigan Elite. She also competed as a varsity soccer goalkeeper her freshman year and played club soccer through her sophomore year. Drawn to Aquinas for its close-knit community, Lauren values the ability to balance athletics and academics while building meaningful friendships and gaining mentors who care about her goals. She also enjoys making coffee and perfecting her barista skills.
