Aquinas College

Junior Trey Boven joins the Aquinas Baseball program after transferring from Mid Michigan Community College. A native of McBain, Michigan, Boven is pursuing a degree in Environmental Biology while bringing an accomplished baseball résumé to the Saints.

Boven earned three All-Conference selections, two All-Area honors, All-Region recognition, two Team MVP awards, three Silver Slugger Awards and two Gold Glove Awards during his high school career. A four-year varsity starter, he also competed in basketball while establishing himself as one of the area's top baseball players.

Trey chose Aquinas because of a coaching staff that believed in his potential and gave him the opportunity to make an immediate impact. He believes surrounding himself with the right teammates will make his collegiate experience successful.

Away from baseball, Trey enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time near the ocean, and flies drones professionally. He also participated in band and choir throughout his school years.
