Biography
#45 – Jacob Howard
Redshirt junior Jacob Howard, from Holt, Michigan, is majoring in Business and Finance and brings a decorated prep résumé and strong sense of humor to the Saints. A former Associated Press All-State, BCAM All-State, and Detroit Free Press All-State selection, Howard also earned Lansing Area Dream Team honors, two First-Team All-Conference selections, and was named Holt’s Male Athlete of the Year. He ranks second in Michigan high school history for free throws made in a single game and led his team to a 2021 district title. At Aquinas, Howard boasts back-to-back titles as Saint Slam Dodgeball Champion. He jokes about having a “3–1 record against teammate Sammy Jacobs in high school,” and says he chose Aquinas for the people and culture. This year, he’s most excited to beat Cornerstone, spend time with teammates, and redeem himself in the Saint Slam 3-point contest. Howard defines success simply: “Beating Cornerstone this year.” He’s friends with Ryan Weir and loves pizza.
