Aquinas College

Johnny Edwards joins Aquinas Men's Basketball after a decorated career at Kalamazoo Central High School. A three-year varsity starter and team captain, Edwards earned MLive Athlete of the Week recognition, two SMAC All-Conference selections and First Team Dream Team honors.

Edwards helped Kalamazoo Central capture four conference championships and three district championships while making two regional finals appearances. His athletic background also includes two years of track & field and AAU basketball with United Pursuit.

Edwards chose Aquinas because of its welcoming environment and the opportunities available to him. He is excited to meet new people, create memories and grow academically and athletically. Edwards defines success through staying focused on his education, building connections, managing his time and making the most of his college experience.

Away from basketball, Edwards enjoys golfing and is a self-described sneakerhead.
