#6 – Sam Medendorp
Junior Sam Medendorp, from Caledonia, Michigan, is a Sports Management major and a graduate of South Christian High School. A versatile multi-sport athlete, Medendorp was a four-year varsity basketball player and appeared in four state championship finals across three different sports — soccer (twice), basketball, and volleyball — capturing a state title in soccer and finishing as state runner-up in basketball. He chose Aquinas for its beautiful campus and athletic scholarship opportunity. Medendorp values the fun and supportive people around him and the engaging classes that make his college experience meaningful. Off the court, he enjoys golfing, spending time with his two nieces and two nephews, and being the youngest of four siblings.
