Biography
Senior Gavin Rozema continues his collegiate hockey career while pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. A native of Grandville, Michigan, Rozema has built an outstanding hockey résumé through years of success both before and during his time at Aquinas.
Rozema earned multiple All-Conference selections, All-State Honorable Mention honors, First Team All-State recognition and All-Tournament accolades during his prep career while also earning All-Academic recognition in college. He helped lead his teams to regional championships and deep postseason runs while gaining additional experience through two seasons in the NOJHL. In addition to hockey, Rozema also competed in lacrosse, baseball and tennis.
Gavin chose Aquinas because it allowed him to compete close to home while earning his degree and building meaningful relationships. Away from the rink, he enjoys golfing and lists The Sopranos among his favorite television series.
