Aquinas College

Freshman Dario Dostal begins his collegiate hockey career with the Aquinas men's hockey program while pursuing degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology. A native of Schererville, Indiana, and graduate of Lake Central High School, Dostal arrives with 11 years of playing experience and a strong competitive background.

Dostal played three years of varsity hockey and spent seven years competing with the Blackbirds organization. During his senior season, he earned Varsity Most Valuable Player honors after previously being named Junior Varsity Rookie of the Year. He also helped his team finish as state runners-up during the 2025-26 season.

Dario chose Aquinas because of its strong academic reputation and coaching staff. He hopes to continue developing his game at the collegiate level. Away from the rink, he enjoys watching the Spider-Man movies.
