Aquinas College

Junior Nick Pike joins the Aquinas men's hockey program after transferring from Saginaw Valley State University. A native of Guilderland, New York, Pike is pursuing a degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice while bringing extensive experience between the pipes.

Pike has played hockey for 18 years, advancing through AAA hockey with Clifton Park Dynamo, Boston Advantage and New Hampshire Monarchs before competing in junior hockey with the Ogden Mustangs and Battle Creek Kernels. Most recently, he established the Saginaw Valley State University program record with five shutouts during the 2025-26 season after helping Clifton Park Dynamo capture the 2019 New York AAA Regional Championship.

Nick chose Aquinas because of its strong hockey tradition and professionally run program. He believes success comes from surrounding himself with great teammates while maintaining open communication with his coaches.

Away from the rink, Nick enjoys hiking and has climbed 23 of the 46 High Peaks in New York. His favorite movie is The Dark Knight.
