Aquinas College

Sophomore Tanner Guerra continues his collegiate hockey career while pursuing a degree in Pre-Medicine. A native of Sparta, Michigan, Guerra has established himself as a dedicated student-athlete through both his accomplishments on the ice and in the classroom.

A highly decorated athlete, Guerra earned multiple All-Conference selections, All-State Honorable Mention honors, Academic All-State recognition and served as a two-time team captain during his prep career. He helped lead his teams to conference championships, regional titles, Final Four appearances and multiple tournament championships. Guerra has played hockey since the age of eight, including three varsity seasons, while also competing as a four-year varsity baseball player. His development included time with the West Kent Hawks, West Michigan Varsity and BRPD programs.

Tanner chose Aquinas because it provided the opportunity to continue playing collegiate hockey while preparing for a future career in medicine. Away from athletics, he owns and operates his own lawn care business.
