Blake Szymanski brings academic excellence and championship experience to Aquinas Men’s Lacrosse. A 2025 WHAC Academic All-Conference honoree, Szymanski helped lead Detroit Catholic Central to a state finals appearance during his senior season. He has played lacrosse since fourth grade and also competed in football, building physical toughness and competitive discipline.
Szymanski chose Aquinas to pursue both his academic and athletic goals while continuing to grow in his faith. He defines success as building strong relationships, graduating with a high GPA, and enjoying the full collegiate experience.
Fun facts: he’s an identical twin (his brother plays lacrosse at Albion), has an older brother who plays lacrosse at WMU, enjoys Star Wars movies, and listens to all types of music.
