Biography
CJ Russell brings leadership, discipline and a multi-sport background to Aquinas Men's Lacrosse. A Business Administration major with studies in Management and Marketing, Russell earned the Dakota Football Leadership Award, four years of M.A.C. All-Academic Team recognition and back-to-back Dakota Lacrosse A.C.E. Awards during his prep career. He also served as a team captain in football and lacrosse. Beyond those sports, Russell has trained in boxing for five years and owns amateur competition experience in the ring. He chose Aquinas because of the brotherhood and family atmosphere within the lacrosse program along with the beauty of the campus. Russell defines success through staying organized while contributing to the team's academic and athletic performance. Away from competition, he enjoys spending time outdoors.
