Cullen Gaves brings strong academic discipline and championship experience to Aquinas Lacrosse. A member of the All-Academic State Team (2024) and Catholic League All-Academic Team (2025), Gaves also received the Irish Award in 2024. He helped lead his team to a 2025 league championship and a historic victory over DC — their first win in eight years.

With 10 years of lacrosse experience, including three varsity seasons, Gaves also competed with Honey Badgers and Blue Crew/Army Ants at the club level. He is excited to continue both his academic and athletic success at Aquinas.

Gaves defines success as maintaining strong athletic structure while achieving academic excellence. Outside of lacrosse, his favorite movie is Cars 2, he enjoys country music, loves the color lime green, and his favorite candy is Nerds Gummy Clusters.
